A-one foods  is one of the largest producer and wholesaler Vermicelli and noodles.The company was founded  by Vipul  Modi in the year 2011.The company traces its roots back to 1971 .This business was set up by our grandfather Natvarlal Maneklal Modi & Father Mafatlal Nataverlal Modi in a very tiny setup with couple of employees.Our products are handmade and goal is to provide best quality of vermicelli at affordable price and be available in all retail stores. Currently we have two manufacturing units in Ahmedabad

Vermicelli is known as a sevaiyaan or sev in local language. Vermicelli and noodles are made from all purpose flour. A-one vermicelli is available in size of pacakaging and caters the wholesalers We have vermicelli products available in different varieties long cut  roasted sevaiyan,lachha seviyan and Roasted round sev. Noodles are available in two categories plain and Hakka noodles.Vermicelli  can be used to cook sweet and savoury dishes

Our Process

Crafting authentic vermicelli with premium ingredients and hygienic precision.

Mixing

At A One Foods, we start by chosen flour is mixed with water to form a dough. This dough is kneaded thoroughly to achieve the desired consistency. For wheat vermicelli, the dough needs to be elastic and smooth, while rice vermicelli dough has a softer texture.

Shaping

Once the dough is ready, it is either passed through a machine or hand-rolled and cut to create thin strands of vermicelli. In industrial processes, the dough is fed into an extruder, which pushes it through small holes to form the strands, while in traditional methods, the dough is rolled out thin and cut into strands using knives or special cutters.

Drying

After the strands are formed, they are left to dry, with the drying method varying depending on production scale. Traditional methods rely on sun-drying, where the vermicelli is naturally dried in sunlight, a process that can take several hours. In industrial production, mechanical drying is used, where temperature-controlled ovens speed up the drying process for efficiency.

Packing

Once dried and cooled, the vermicelli is packaged for sale. It can be packed in long strands or broken into smaller pieces, depending on the type.
